About

Someone once said of my mom, "she's really good at finding books she likes," and I'd like to think I inherited this talent. Or maybe I'm just not that particular.

This blog is for books I liked. If I didn't like it, I didn't finish it. If you're looking for critical reviews, look elsewhere. I save my critiquing for other parts of my life, and this blog is for fun. Some people critique for fun, but I'm not one of them.

There is no guarantee you won't encounter spoilers. They might be anywhere. One person's spoiler is another person's contextualization. I avoid overt giveaways unless tempted to do otherwise.

I tend to read science-fiction, fantasy, non-fiction, and magical surrealism, more or less in that order of preference. Book recommendations are more than welcome. You can also sign up for notifications when I post a new review.

The blog author contemplates (poses for a photo in front of) The Moon Pyramid of Teotihuacan, from which other tourists have been photoshopped out.
